Matakana Superfoods - Allulose 200g

Allulose is a naturally occurring, rare sugar with amazing properties. It tastes similar to regular table sugar and is found in small quantities in various fruits.

Unlike other fruit sugars, allulose is low in calories (101 x lower than regular table sugar!) containing approximately 1.67kj/g compared to 170kj/g for regular table sugar.

Allulose can be used in baking and as a tabletop sweetener (it's 70% as sweet as regular table sugar). It can be used independently or in combination with other types of sugar.

Allulose has a similar appearance to icing sugar and is produced by the fermentation of other plant sugars.
