Not a coffee substitute

The date seed coffee has a weak flavour. I was after a coffee substitute, so something with a strong flavour. There were no instructions on the packet on how to make the drink so I could’ve made it incorrectly. I used 3 teaspoons for one cup of brew. The taste is pleasant.

I bought this as a caffeine free beverage. It tasted very burnt to start, however I have now adjusted to the altered flavour. I enjoy it very weak with full cream milk.
Coffee is still better!!
